Eduvar Software (OPC) Private Limited, having its registered address at Narayan Bhavan, Lalbagh, Near Nehru Manch, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh 494001 owns KamPao.in and is the data controller for the Personal Information collected through our Site. Through KamPao we seek to increase the transparency and hiring visibility for selected categories of unskilled and semi-skilled workers in rural and urban India. KamPao seeks to leverage the internet accessibility across India to connect prospective employers with contractual and full-time labour and workers (“service”).

Our Privacy terms are bases on the tenets of the Information Technology Act, 2000 ('the IT Act') and Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ('the SPDI Rules') which are the key privacy regulations in India. From time to time we will ensure to update our Privacy terms (and notify you of such changes in accordance with this Privacy Policy) with the constantly evolving legislation such as the recently tabled Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2022.

What data do we collect about you?

Data provided through direct interactions

When you register to use our service we collect the following information about you;

Phone Number which we verify using SMS verification (described below). Currently we only offer registration through phone numbers, however later we may introduce verification by email or other social media logins as may be required from time to time.

Validation of your registration. Your registration is a precondition to create a User Account. We validate your User Account through SMS verification to ensure that each account is associated with a genuine and unique user. This validation process begins as soon as you begin using KamPao and prior to posting your listing on our Site. To validate your User Account, we will send you an SMS containing a one-time password (OTP) to your valid mobile number. This procedure is completely free of charge. Non-validated accounts cannot access our service or any part thereof.

Upon validation of your User Account, you will be required to provide us with the following information;

Your name;
Your phone number;
Your picture (optional) to be used as a display picture; and
Your current location where you require our service

b. Data that we collect automatically

When you interact with our site, we automatically collect the following information about you;

Device information: We collect device-specific information, such as the version of the operating system and unique identifiers. For instance, the name of the mobile network you are currently using. We associate the device identifiers with your User Account.

Location information: If you publish a listing on our Site, depending on the permissions of your device, we automatically collect and process information about your actual location. To determine location, we employ multiple technologies, including IP address, GPS, Wi-Fi access points, and mobile towers. Your location data enables you to view listings near you and enables you to post listings near you. If we require access to your location data, we will first display a pop-up requesting your permission to access your location data. If you do not grant us access to your location data, you will still be able to use our services, but with fewer features. If you grant us access to your location data, you can change your mind at any time and disable the permissions related to location sharing.

Log Information: Details regarding your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, time zone, and operating system. We will also retain your browser type and version, as well as your login information (date of registration, date of last password change, and date of last successful login).

Clickstream Data: We collect information about your activity on our Site, including the websites from which you accessed our Site, the date and time stamp of each visit, the searches you have conducted, the listings or advertisement banners you clicked, your interaction with such advertisements or listings, the length of your visit, and the order in which you visit the content on our Site.

If you sign in with your mobile number, we use your first and last name and mobile number, to verify and identify you as a user and grant you access to our Site.

We use your email address and mobile number (via SMS) to send you service-related suggestions and recommendations that may be of interest to you and other marketing information in general.

Corporate affiliates, Senior Management and employees: We share your Personal Information with our corporate affiliates, senior management and employees on a need to know basis. All recipients of your Personal Information are bound to follow the terms of a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that they execute with KamPao. Additionally our employees and affiliates will be periodically trained and informed about the best privacy privacy practices for securely handling personal data.

Third Parties: We may also share your Personal Information restricted only to your name and phone number with trusted third-party service providers who may from time to time offer their services to you. These third-party service providers are completely unrelated to KamPao. When you use their service, you may be subject to such third party service providers’ website’s terms and conditions and other policies. KamPao makes no representation or guarantee as to the accuracy or authenticity of the information contained in any such third party websites or services, and your linking to any other websites or using any such services is completely at your own risk and KamPao disclaims all liability thereto.
